In 1977, Mike Shields' older brother Tony wrote an article in his collegiate newspaper "The Colgate News" about a "fictional" band called "The Dimeslots". As part of the promo for the article, some bumper stickers were printed up. Two years later, Mike arrived at W&M with his Farfisa organ and a handful of Dimeslots bumper stickers. Above is the original article. (on loan from the Mike Shields Collection).
